I’m one of the shooting coaches at our local shooting club for youths that are getting into Trap/Skeet/Sporting clays. I have taken a formal coaching class to get certified as a coach.
I’m trying to get advice on training methods to help kids . Instead of just shooting rounds and calling it a day how do any other coaches train their kids?
For example: Do you take 5 shots from high house from each station and then go to low house and get the muscle memory and sight picture and timing?
I’m trying to get training ideas to get these kids better

Close….
I have my kids shoot a round of skeet and any miss has to be shot 5x in a row including true pairs. Generally takes a flat for kids the first time.

I know one thing for sure, make it fun! Hold mini 'tournaments'.
