Hopkins Game Farm to Host Northeast Regional
Hopkins Game Farm in Kennedyville, MD, has been awarded the 2020 Northeast Regional Championship. The NSCA Executive Council approved the change in venue this week. M&M Sporting Clays announced earlier this month that due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in place for New Jersey, they would be unable to host the event this year as planned. The 2020 Northeast Regional at Hopkins Game Farm will be held August 19–23. Registration is now open on Winscoreonline.com. Additionally, the FITASC Grand Slam tour stop that was originally scheduled at M&M Sporting Clays will now take place at Hopkins Game Farm in conjunction with the Northeast Regional. M&M Sporting Clays will host the 2021 Northeast Regional Championship on May 19-23, 2021.
Congratulations to NSCA-SCTP All-Americans
2020 NSCA-SCTP All-American Teams have been named based on shooting in 2019 events. Congratulations to the student-athletes who are being honored in Sub-Junior, Junior, and Rookie categories. See the NSCA-SCTP All-American Teams.
Nominations for National Delegates Open July 1
NSCA members are invited to become candidates for National Delegate representing your state for the term January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022. The nomination period is July 1-21, and ballots will be distributed August 1. Following the election of National Delegates, a 15-member Executive Council will be elected; you must first be elected a Delegate to be on the EC. Get the details and Delegate nomination form.
Final Shots: All-American Bob Self
NSCA regrets to report the death of many-time All-American Bob Self of Indiana, who passed away on April 30. Bob was an NSCA Life Member and Master class competitor who was also involved in shooting instruction and gun-fitting. He was on the ProStaff for Caesar Guerini since 2012. Read his obituary
NSCA Adds American Field Sporting to Portfolio
NSCA has entered into a two-year licensing agreement with American Field Sporting (AFS), adding a new game to the sporting clays portfolio. The NSCA classification system will be used. Competition will begin in 2020. The new game includes such features as formats designed to be fun and fast, new target types, reduced previews of targets, and an XBird single that counts as two points if the bird is broken on the first shot. Register for Rescheduled World FITASC
The World FITASC Championship has been rescheduled for November 9-15 at Providence Hill Farm (Jackson, Mississippi). If you have already registered, your registration will be carried over to the new dates. Registration is managed by FITASC and is a different process than most shooters are accustomed to. FITASC has provided detailed instructions on how to follow the registration process. To register for side events of the World FITASC, go to Winscoreonline.com. Southeast Regional Rescheduled
The Southeast Regional Sporting Clays Championship, originally scheduled for March at South Florida Shooting Club, has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event has been rescheduled for December 9-13. Registrations will be moved to the new dates. See the Regional Championship schedule.
U.S. Open Is Postponed Until 2021
Originally scheduled for May 31 – June 7 at Claythorne Lodge in Columbus, Kansas, the 2020 U.S. Open is being postponed until next year when Claythorne Lodge will host a combined 2020-2021 event on June 7-13, 2021. This change also means the club awarded the 2021 event, Back Woods Quail Club in South Carolina, is moving its event back a year and will now be the 2022 U.S. Open host on May 16-22, 2022.
2019 Punches Carrying Over to 2021
In response to the unique challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSCA Executive Council has made the decision to allow punches earned during the 2019 shoot year to be carried over to 2021. This decision will alter rule V-A-2-e of the NSCA 2020 rule book for the 2021 shoot year only.

Target Minimums Waived for Major Events
Due to the cancellation of many events during the pandemic, the NSCA Executive Council voted to waive all target minimums that would normally apply for classification at State and Regional shoots, as well as the 2020 National Championship. The NSCA rules that correspond are in the online version of the 2020 NSCA Rule Book:

World English Is Rescheduled
The 2020 World English has been postponed from its June 8-14, 2020, dates until next year. It is rescheduled for July 5-11, 2021, and will be hosted at the same location, E.J. Churchill Shooting Grounds in England.
High Volume Pins Being Mailed
We have now sent out all NSCA All-American, All-Region and All-State Team patches and certificates. You should receive everything within a few days. We are now working on the NSCA High Volume pin mailing. Due to the volume of this project and the unique working circumstances we are currently practicing, this will be a more time-consuming process this year. We will make an additional announcement once we have mailed these pins. Thank you for your patience as we complete all of the projects as quickly as we can during these unprecedented times.
New Sub-Gauge Class Begins January 1, 2021
The new Sub-Gauge classification does not go into effect until January 1, 2021. The NSCA Executive Council is currently working on the details and the verbiage for the new rule so the programming can be written for the NSCA database. Until that time, shooters will continue as in the past with the current single classification system. We will post the new Sub-Gauge classification rule when all the details and verbiage are ready, prior to the 2021 shoot year. Click here for more information on the new Sub-Gauge classification.

Access Member Credentials at My Home Page
NSCA members may now access your member credentials whenever you need them, as well as finding your member benefits, shoot history, and other information at a new member portal on MyNSCA.com. Under the Member tab, where you previously found My Records, you'll now find My Home Page. Soon there will be even more for you to access there, but for now, log in at MyNSCA.com, go to My Home Page, and download your Member Card and Classification Card. Get all the details.
Download an NSCA Shoot Record Page
With the implementation of digital membership and classification cards, we have also added a digital shoot record page to record your shoot results from each event. Just visit your My Credentials page at the new member portal on MyNSCA.com and just below the link where you downloaded your Classification Card is now a feature called "Keeping Track," where the link to the NSCA Shoot Record page is. Just print this page and continue to record your results and punches earned. Maintaining accurate personal records is important!
